Every person who has ever lived deserves to be remembered. Not just by those who knew them — but by anyone who might stumble across their story and find meaning in it. ArchiveHumanity exists to make that possible.

We built this because we believe preserving human history shouldn't be complicated, and it certainly shouldn't be expensive. The death industry already asks a great deal of grieving families — funeral costs, burial plots, headstones, flowers. We didn't want to add to that burden. A digital memorial that lasts forever should be free.

So it is. No subscriptions. No paywalls. No premium tiers. Create a memorial, generate a QR code, and place it wherever feels right — a gravestone, a framed photo, a memorial plaque. Anyone with a phone can scan it and step into that person's world.

Of course, keeping a website running isn't free — servers, storage, and the time it takes to build and maintain something like this all have real costs. We cover those ourselves, and we're happy to.
